Fabric Trends International, LLC (FTI), headquartered in Connecticut, is situated between New York and Boston. It has more than fifty years of history since it was established. In 2005, FTI moved to China and established a manufacturing facility in Shandong province in the Weifang High-Tech Zone and registered the Company in under the name of “Shandong New Material Trends Company, Ltd” to better serve Asian and world markets.

Joachim Rothert, chief engineer and German expert, was mainly responsible for the installation and operation of the production lines. Larry Rose from the US was brought in and put in charge of line testing. In 2008, the Company was formally into production.
